Open Question: How do I know if a poem/poet is modernist or not?
I need to find 2 modernist love poems for Thursday, and they need to be outside the obvious ones (Graves, Yeats) because we've already been studying them. I was looking at a poem by Christopher Brennan called 'Because She Would Ask Me Why I Loved Her' and it is a similar time frame, but what makes it modernist (or not)?
Similarly, Huesca by John Cornford appears to be that time, but according to his wiki he is not a modernist poet. Any help, or any suggestions on what poems/poets would be good to investigate?
Cheers.
