Open Question: I have an unknown Edwardian medallion to identify and i can't find anythign similar on the internet.?

The medal has King Edward 7th pictured, he is facing to the right, on his left is what looks like a laurel and the date 1902, on the right are the latin words: eduardus rex septimus rex imperator .
The reverse is a traditional coat of arms (lion and unicorn) with the words god save the king in the lower shield area and ER above.
It ISN'T a coronation medal as there is no Alexandra. If anyone recognises the description i'd be grateful for more info.
