Open Question: Was Agatha Christie The Best 'Whodunit?' Writer Ever?
Her style is simplistic, her ideas snobbish & unworldly (even for their time) and some of her books frankly terrible. Yet she has sold millions of books, her name is known worldwide and her most famous characters and novels are adapted endlessly.
Was she simply the greatest writer of 'whodunits', and by extension greatest crime novelist, of all time?
