Open Question: which book should i get?




   over the last few days my friend has been feeling very down and has had a very bad past including parents abusing her, being attacked by other people etc and recently she has explained all this to me. as her friends i know she loves reading books especially autobiography, i was considering to get a autobiography for her but not sure who's to get, i would like to get someone who has had similar experiences but their life turned out really well, also i want the book to contain information to dela with problems such as those mentioned above thanks
