Open Question: motorbike lessons/cbt?




   right so basically im 17 and i know i am not going to be able to insure a car when i get on the road, so i was just wondering

can i take lessons on a bike, like you do in a car, as if possible i would like one or two as i have never driven a bike before.

also if not what would people recommend the best way to learn, do the cbt then get practice on the road?

i live in birmingham if anyone can recommend a place to do these.
also if it helps, i would like to get a geared 125cc.
