Open Question: Is this qualification sufficient?

I've applied for Veterinary Nursing as my preferred college course in September but in case I do not get the necessary points I've also applied for Food Science & Forensic/Analytical Science.  I want to progress to Veterinary Medicine and this is what the graduate entry part of the website says...

I. Hold an honours degree (NQAI Level Cool in a Biological/Biomedical/Animal Science discipline at the level of a 2.2 Honours or above, a Masters degree, or a PhD in a relevant area of biological science.

Would you consider one of the courses (not veterinary nursing!) i've applied for a Biological/Biomedical/Animal Science degree?
Well this is in Ireland so i'm not sure what the points are that you talk of...each of the vet.nursing, food & forensic sciences will be level 8 honours degrees, therefore of the correct level but what i'm wondering is would you class them as a Biological/Biomedical/Animal Science degree?
